  • The Bethlehem Shipyard Museum at Pier 70 is a 4,200 square-foot “Time Machine” celebrating the industrial spirit of San Francisco. In collaboration with the Potrero Hill Archives Project, we have brought the “Pier 70 Time Machine” to life inside Building 12 through a blend of maritime artifacts, local narratives, and engaging exhibits.
  • Explore the journey from the Gold Rush Days to the 19th-century locomotives, fighting ships and submarines built at Pier 70.
  • Witness the monumental production efforts after the Great San Francisco Earthquake of 1906 and through two World Wars
  • Explore Pier 70’s role in three of San Francisco’s most famous icons, the Cable Cars, the Golden Gate Bridge and the BART tubes.
  • Learn the fascinating details of the daily life of the inhabitants of Potrero Hill, Irish Hill and the Dogpatch.
