Labor Day at Longshoremen’s Hall, September 2nd

Posted on August 27, 2013 by Admin in Events

On Monday, September 2, 2013, International Longshore and Warehouse Union will be hosting a Labor Day Festival at ILWU Local 10’s Hiring Hall near Fisherman’s Wharf. The celebration will honor Labor history and display contributions to the American way of life and conditions to the workplace. We invite you to participate in this free event by visiting the Bethlehem Shipyard Museum booth and enjoying live music, films, and historical displays.

Our Museum’s exhibit will feature a preview of the Golden Gate Bridge film and video of the BART trans-bay tube launch. Don’t forget to bring a camera to capture memories of your kids and grandkids with a Golden Gate Bridge hard-hat and wrench.
