Posted on September 22, 2016 by Admin in News

The Bethlehem Shipyard Museum would like to extend our most sincere condolences to the family of Andy Tarantino, son-in-law to Emily Karpinsky.

Born on June 1, 1918, Emily peacefully joined her beloved husband Bill on Tuesday, September 6th, 2016, in Petaluma, California. She was a resident of Petaluma for the last 6 years living with Andy and her youngest daughter Nancy. Emily was a native of Norwalk, Connecticut, and a resident of Ringwood, New Jersey, for 45 years.

She was a homemaker and happily married to William Karpinsky for 56 years.

Emily was preceded in death by her husband, two siblings, and a daughter.  She is survived by her sister; her children William Karpinsky and Nancy (Andy) Tarantino; and numerous other relatives.

Funeral mass was at St. James Catholic Church, Petaluma, California, and burial at Riverside Cemetery, Norwalk, Connecticut.
